Let me remind you of the saying from the New Testament in order to establish a connection between the emotion of fear and the operation of the Law of God: “So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:31-33).
Jesus Christ directed these words against the cowardliness of His disciples, against their fear of hardships and life troubles. Such a phrase delivers guidance for appropriate action. Seek the Kingdom of Heaven, meaning live here and now according to the Laws of the Father, and His Will will present everything you need for a decent life.
Let us take a look at the current world state of affairs. In addition to fears due to the global situation such as epidemics, natural disasters, and wars, there is also the constant pressure of anxiety regarding our health, the health of our children, as well as the fear of the unknown - what the future holds for us, our kids, and our country.
Deep fear causes us to shut down. It paralyzes our will and destroys the immune system. This emotion generates an unpleasant pressing sensation in the area of the solar plexus of our body. The solar plexus is precisely where the wave connection of the soul and body occurs.
When a believer takes on the task of conquering his sins, fear acts as the blocker of faith, thus, as the blocker of the connection between the soul and the Holy Spirit (the Will of God). The person is then deprived of Its support and becomes left one on one with the forces of the Darkness that surpasses human capabilities. It is the primary harm caused by fear.
However, do not confuse fear, which is harmful, with the sense of self-preservation, which is necessary. The instinct warns us in time, allowing us to react quickly to a problem. It enables the best qualities and skills to prevent or diminish an adverse situation. On the contrary, fear is useless since it does not help to eliminate the problem even in the slightest but only aggravates it.
I also had to deal with this emotion and eventually gradually freed myself from its influence. I discovered the foundation of support in faith in God. For my rational mind, which required a logical explanation, I came up with the following reasoning: the Creator is the source of the infinite Power that creates the Universe, Worlds, and Galaxies, with all their interconnections visible and not yet known to people. Darkness and evil exist only on a tiny patch - the Earth and near-Earth ethereal space, tarnished by human sins, i.e., negative thoughts and emotions. Compared to the infinite Power of the Holy Will, the Darkness and its bearers are of infinitely small magnitude. The victory of the Light is inevitable and is only a matter of time.
These considerations were compelling enough, and strong faith allowed me to accept this postulate with my soul. At the same time, there was a battle with other errors. My life slowly began to change for the better. I started solving my problems faster and easier. Troubles somehow dissolved on their own without causing significant damage. I felt a growing sense of security. It was precisely what Jesus Christ had promised His disciples. The experience convinced me that I am moving toward reconciliation with the Law of God, which gradually takes me under protection.
Of course, in the process, there were many attempts to interfere with the progress. What helped was my firm belief in the highest Justice and the absolute Power of the Creator that, as I discovered, helps only those who move toward It. Then the Law of Choice becomes triggered by the fact that the person himself must take the first step: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7)
The Lord's Prayer, which I only turned to in rare cases, also helped me along the way. Those rare cases were either very harsh life circumstances or appearing doubts in my mind while trying to understand essential spiritual matters. I realized I had no right to beg in prayer for granting me an easier life. I must earn such a right with my rectification.
It also helped to visit temples and monasteries, where it was easier for the soul to escape the hustle and bustle of life and receive spiritual support.
So, the crucial facilitating components in the battle against fear are:
1. Absolute faith in the immeasurable superiority of the Power of the Holy Spirit over the limited power of the Darkness.
2. Achievement of personal tangible results in the fight against sins.
Faith creates a stable connection with the Light. The Holy Will registers and recognizes the genuine reduction of sins as the movement toward rectification. Only then the Light takes us under protection.
Over time, the connection with the Light becomes reinforced, and the strength of our spirit increases. With that comes the realization that faith in God also encompasses trust in His Power, in the ability of that faith to shield us and our kids from all sorts of troubles.
Faith evolves into conviction, and with it comes a spiritual sense of absence of fear. It is not a big task for the Law to protect us from the attacks of the Darkness, provided we amend ourselves and move toward this Law as fast as possible.
As you can see, the correct understanding of the Word and the theory proven by experience allow us to overcome "unconquerable" sins and create a better destiny for ourselves, regardless of the surrounding circumstances.
The enemies of humanity, agents of the Darkness, using our spiritual ignorance, sow panic and tension wherever possible, in every possible way, to cut us off from the support of the Light. To some extent, they do succeed. And our task is to get rid of ignorance, acquire the necessary knowledge, and fight back. Our goal is to eradicate fear, among other things, which is possible only with the help of the Will of God. But It will not protect people who have not repented and are not intending to improve themselves.
Conquer your laziness and lack of faith. Come under the banner of the Light. Nobody is stopping you except your rational mind.
